Conscience

“Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly” Hebrews 13:18.

Basis:  “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly” (Proverbs 20:27).

Definition:  The word conscience is used thirty one times in the New Testament and is translated from the Greek word meaning “co-knowledge” or “to be aware.”
