“LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.” Psalm 15:1-2
Setting: It is believed that this Psalm was written in connection with David’s desire of bringing the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem.
Pastor Jack Hyles writes that the Jew used to sing this Psalm before going to Jerusalem. He also recommends reading it before going to church to prepare your heart for the services.
